Job description
A leading independent insights and strategy consultancy is hiring a Qualitative Research Consultant to deliver high-impact work across consumer behaviour, brand strategy, cultural insight and innovation.
This is an opportunity to join a business at the forefront of behavioural science, cultural strategy and AI-driven insight, working with major Australian and global brands.
The Role
As a Qualitative Research Consultant, you will:
• Design and deliver qualitative research (depth interviews, focus groups, ethnography, workshops, online communities, social listening)
• Apply behavioural science and cultural insight frameworks to understand consumer decision-making
• Translate research into clear, strategic recommendations across brand, innovation and customer strategy
• Support client relationships and contribute to strategic discussions
• Work across U&A, segmentation, brand positioning and innovation pipelines
Key Requirements
• 2+ experience in qualitative research / consumer insights / strategy
• Experience within an agency, consultancy or insights environment
• Strong understanding of consumer behaviour and brand strategy
• Ability to turn insight into commercial, actionable recommendations
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills
