Senior Research Executive - Audience & Cultural Insight

Partnering with leading museums, galleries and cultural institutions across the globe, the team blends rigorous research with strategic thinking to help organisations better understand their audiences and deliver meaningful experiences. The work is intellectually stimulating, collaborative and genuinely impactful.
They are now looking to appoint a Senior Research Executive in Australia to support the delivery of high-value research and consulting projects across the region while contributing to global initiatives.

The Opportunity
In this role, you’ll work across a diverse portfolio of projects that explore how audiences engage with culture, experiences and institutions. You’ll play a central role in shaping research approaches, analysing complex data and helping clients translate insights into practical strategies.
You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues across multiple international offices and gain exposure to projects spanning Australia, New Zealand and other global markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver end-to-end research projects, from methodology design through to insight delivery

  • Apply quantitative and qualitative techniques to uncover meaningful audience insights

  • Analyse data and develop clear narratives that inform strategic decisions

  • Work closely with clients to understand their challenges and translate research into actionable recommendations

  • Coordinate project delivery across internal teams to ensure smooth execution

  • Contribute to proposal development and new project opportunities

  • Support the development of junior team members through guidance and collaboration

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working within a research agency or consultancy environment

  • Strong capabilities in quantitative research, with some exposure to qualitative approaches

  • Proven experience managing research projects and juggling multiple priorities

  • A confident communicator who can explain complex findings clearly and persuasively

  • Curiosity, strategic thinking and a genuine interest in how audiences engage with experiences, culture or brands

Experience in the arts, culture, membership or visitor sectors would be beneficial but isnot essential.
