Senior Research Consultant - Cultural Sector Insights
Job description
This specialist consultancy works with leading museums, galleries and cultural institutions to understand audiences, strengthen membership programmes and demonstrate the impact of cultural experiences.
As a Senior Research Consultant, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality research projects and helping clients translate audience understanding into meaningful action.
The Role
You’ll manage a variety of quantitative research programmes across Australia and New Zealand, collaborating with a global team of specialists.
Projects may include bespoke audience trackers and other customised ad hoc research programmes designed to help organisations better understand and connect with their visitors and members.
Key Responsibilities
Help manage quantitative research projects from design through to delivery
Get stuck into some qualitative projects too!
Analyse complex datasets and develop clear, insight-led recommendations
Produce engaging reports and client deliverables
Work collaboratively with senior consultants to design ad hoc research studies
Build and maintain trusted client relationships
Contribute to proposals and support new business opportunities
About You
Quantitative research experience, ideally within a research or insights agency
Qualitative experience would be a bonus
Experience delivering customised research projects end-to-end
Strong analytical skills combined with the ability to tell a clear story with data
Think Q or similar statistical software
Confident managing multiple projects and deadlines
You enjoy building trusted client relationships, backed up by strong delivery
