Job description
This team believes in the power of culture as a force for good, with a strong focus on making a positive impact on society.
They partner with major national museums, galleries and cultural institutions to drive audience understanding, shape membership strategies, unlock growth and prove impact. They turn down projects that don’t align with their core ethical values and foster a ‘step forward’ culture that embraces new ideas and initiative.
This is a strategic insights role leading client consulting across the ANZ market.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead client relationships and deliver research outcomes for a portfolio of major cultural institutions
Design and lead quantitative research programmes – including bespoke trackers and ad hoc studies
Confidently lead analysis and translate findings into clear, compelling client conclusions
Manage and inspire two direct reports
Deliver reports, presentations and workshops
Identify future opportunities and think proactively about what’s next for clients
This role is all about helping organisations understand and connect deeply with their members and visitors – driving strategy through a robust evidence base that boards can’t ignore.
What We’re Looking For
A primarily quantitative research profile, ideally with some exposure to qualitative research
Agency background strongly preferred
Broad methodological experience across customised research programmes
Deep analytical thinking combined with strong storytelling skills
Ability to manage pace, competing deadlines and multiple client needs
Experience managing or mentoring team members is ideal
Experience within arts and culture, membership, experience or loyalty sectors would be beneficial, but candidates from other industries will also be considered
This role hits the mark in many ways – a fascinating client base, a strong for-purpose ethos, a global team, supportive senior leadership, and work that blends deep analytics with storytelling and strategy.
Preference is for a candidate based in Melbourne, but other Australian locations will be considered.
Flexible working arrangements are supported, including home office set-up or access to a co-working space.
