Qualitative Researcher - Brand Strategy, Behavior & Cultural Insights

A unique market position: This is not your average agency. An electric fusion of brand developers, cultural and behavioral experts, strategic planners, and consumer insights specialists. These guys talk to clients about actions. All projects involve strategy, and they use their expertise to help their clients and brands be heard with a clear voice that resonates with consumers.

More than just research: Working at a deeper level with clients. Things don’t stop with a debrief. Much of their work continues through to brand and creative development and output.

Brand experts: Able to answer big and small questions, they are highly proficient across: Opportunity Identification, Marketing Strategy Development, Brand Positioning, Brand Story & Identity Development, Marketing Communication, Creative Strategy Development and Brand Measurement.
  
Key responsibilities:
  • Managing and strengthening client relationships
  • Unpacking client problems and designing research frameworks
  • Qualitative consumer engagement techniques – focus groups, workshops, ethnography etc
  • Synthesising, analysing and contextualising data
  • Delivering impactful strategies in creative, inspiring stories
  • Trend blogs and written pieces detailing the changing culture of consumers and brands
  • Spotting opportunities to evolve client’s thinking and your own

You will likely have worked previously in market research, brand strategy or planning.

You love asking questions! When it comes to your work you leave no stone unturned. You love nothing better than charting the unknown and fully immersing yourself in a new client or sector.
  
You love speaking to people and doing qual! Be it in the group room, in the home, in store, at a party, on the street, online – you’ll love creative approaches to getting to qual insights.
You are a brand fanatic! When it comes to brands you love them all, and you can cross-pollinate learnings and observations about your own brand experiences into your work.
You get things done! It goes without saying that you are a doer. You will be able to roll your sleeves and juggle many balls.
