Senior Consultant - CX, Voice of Customer & Strategic Insights

A highly respected strategy and insights consultancy is looking for a Senior Consultant with strong experience in Customer Experience (CX) and Voice of Customer (VOC) to lead strategic client relationships and deliver impactful insights programs.
This is a consulting-led role where you’ll work closely with senior stakeholders to help organisations better understand their customers and translate insight into meaningful business action.
You’ll join a team known for combining research, behavioural science and strategy to solve complex challenges for leading Australian brands.

The Role
As a Senior Consultant, you will lead major CX and VOC engagements while partnering with clients to design and implement insight-driven strategies.
This role combines research leadership, strategic consulting and client relationship management, giving you the opportunity to influence both client outcomes and the direction of projects.
Key responsibilities include:

Client & Consulting Leadership
  • Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders
  • Provide strategic guidance that goes beyond traditional research delivery
  • Develop a deep understanding of client industries, challenges and opportunities
CX & Voice of Customer Programs
  • Design and lead CX and VOC programs that connect customer metrics to business outcomes
  • Advise clients on CX frameworks and measurement approaches (NPS, CSAT, CES etc.)
  • Translate customer feedback and data into clear, actionable business recommendations
Research & Insight Delivery
  • Lead proposals, project design and delivery across quantitative and qualitative methodologies
  • Analyse data to uncover meaningful customer and market insights
  • Develop clear, engaging and visually compelling insight deliverables
Thought Leadership & Innovation
  • Contribute to the development of new methodologies, frameworks and intellectual property
  • Bring fresh thinking to CX, insights and consulting approaches
  • Support workshops, presentations and industry engagement
Team Leadership
  • Mentor and support junior consultants and researchers
  • Contribute to team capability building and knowledge sharing
  • Help foster a collaborative, curious and high-performing team culture

About You
You’re an experienced insights or consulting professional who enjoys tackling complex business problems and translating data into clear strategic direction.
You will likely bring:
  • 5/6+ years’ experience in market research, insights consulting or strategy roles
  • Strong expertise working on CX or Voice of Customer programs
  • Experience managing senior client relationships and influencing stakeholders
  • Strong quantitative research and analytical capability (Q/SPSS advantageous)
  • Ability to connect insights to commercial strategy and decision-making
  • Excellent storytelling, presentation and communication skills
  • Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members
