Quant Senior Strategist - Decode Culture. Shape Change.

Job description

The world is shifting fast.
People are shifting faster.

The brands that win next won’t just compete in a category, they’ll earn a role in culture. They’ll understand the deeper forces shaping behaviour, identity, belonging, trust and change.

Our client is an independent insight and strategy consultancy built for this exact moment. They combine cultural intelligence with behavioural thinking and sharp quantitative capability to help brands see what’s coming, understand what matters, and act with confidence.

They’re growing their quantitative strategy team and are looking for a Quant Senior Strategist who can move between data, meaning and direction. Someone who can deliver rigour without losing the humanity.

The Role
This is a growth hire, created off the back of momentum and strong client demand.
You’ll lead and deliver bespoke quantitative projects across commercial and government/social clients, helping solve problems that matter. From brand and comms to innovation, customer experience and behavioural change.

What you’ll be responsible for:
  • Client partnership
Build trusted relationships through clarity, warmth and a proactive problem-solving style.
  • Quant strategy delivery (end-to-end)
Run projects from brief and design through to analysis, story and stakeholder-ready outputs.
  • Brand & culture thinking
Help brands connect to real people, real life and real cultural context, beyond the obvious.
  • Analytical strength + pattern finding
You’re confident designing research, interrogating data, spotting what’s meaningful (and what’s misleading), and translating it into insight.
  • Strategic storytelling
Bring structure and energy to outputs, turning findings into clear choices, direction and next steps.
Projects may include:
Brand positioning, campaign strategy, segmentation, pricing, NPD, usage & attitudes, customer value propositions, CX and journey work.

About You
You’re a quant specialist, but you don’t hide behind charts.
You love the craft of research, but what really drives you is the moment insight becomes strategy and strategy becomes action.

You’ll bring:
  • 4/5+ years’ experience in quantitative market research/insights
  • Experience in an insights or strategy agency environment (essential)
  • Confidence working across sectors (FMCG, retail, finance, tech, entertainment, government)
  • Strong quant fundamentals (questionnaire design, sampling, analysis, interpretation)
  • Solid technical capability - Q is key; R is a bonus
  • Comfort running projects end-to-end: proposal → design → delivery → presentation
  • A collaborative, low-ego style (this team values generosity, trust and autonomy)
Why This Role?
This is a chance to do proper strategic quant, not production-line research.
You’ll work alongside smart, curious people who care deeply about:
  • decoding behaviour (not just measuring it)
  • staying ahead of cultural change
  • raising the bar on quality and thinking
  • building a workplace that supports real life, not just output
The business is flexible and hybrid, with a genuinely welcoming office when you want connection. Benefits are designed with wellbeing and sustainability in mind, including initiatives like additional leave days and strong learning and development programs.
If you’re ready to join a team where quant has a real seat at the strategy table and where the work is as interesting as the people, we’d love to hear from you.
