Qualitative Project Manager - Boutique Consultancy

A genuinely rare opportunity for an experienced qualitative project manager or researcher to join a boutique Melbourne based consultancy and take their skills to the next level!
With a small but highly experienced and talented team, this agency is at the forefront of qualitative research. Using the latest tools and methodologies, no problem is too tricky for them to tackle!
  
Established by industry renowned researchers, they work across a range of domestic and international projects for high-profile consumer brands, utilising an innovative and advanced methodological toolkit including online communities, groups, ethnography, choice-modelling, future trend identification, intercept interviews, accompanied shops, video diaries and client immersions.
  
Your role
  
As the newest member of the team, you will work closely with PM and Research colleagues on a range of projects, supporting across every step and developing your project management skills and (if desired) receiving expert training in qualitative methodologies to enable you to become a fully-fledged researcher, strategic thinker and brand expert!
  
Your day to day role will be varied and exciting and will include:
  • Liaising with clients on a regular basis. Attending briefing sessions, keeping them up to date with projects
  • Help identify the best possible research solutions
  • Inputting into project design
  • Assisting with project costing and coordinating documentation for proposals
  • Writing recruitment screeners, preparing stimulus, assisting with questionnaire development
  • Organising fieldwork for focus groups, expert interviews etc
About you
  
You must be an organised, driven individual, with good people skills, who values collaboration, comradely and energy in the workplace. You must have a solid grounding in qualitative research and have your head around the different stages involved in a commercial research project. Any experience in writing discussion guides, running interviews, focus groups etc. would be a bonus, but no essential – you will be trained! Above all you will love getting your teeth into tricky brand questions.
