Senior Research Executive/ Research Manager

Job description

Senior Research Executive/ Research Manager

Boutique Research Agency – Public, Social & Commercial

Cardiff, Wales (Hybrid, 3 office days a week)

£35-45,000 depending on experience + good benefits

A rare opportunity to join a Cardiff-based, highly respected, employee-owned research consultancy with deep roots in Wales and a growing UK-wide footprint. This small but influential team delivers high-impact research for government bodies, public, social and commercial sectors, from shaping policy and products, evaluating advertising effectiveness to delivering insights into customer journeys or brand performance.

Joining this well-established business as a Senior Research Executive or Research Manager, you will be client-facing, collaborative and commercially aware.  Involved in the full research process, you will take the lead on projects, both quantitative and qualitative, from initial brief through to delivery of actionable insights.

Hugely varied, no two days will be the same, one day you could be designing a quant survey for an education client or shaping a discussion guide to evaluate public health advertising concepts, the next moderating a group of teenagers about voting rights or conducting one to ones with c-suite client stakeholders.  Many projects are carried out bilingually, so Welsh language skills are welcome but not essential.

Wherever your skills can add value, you will contribute including proposal writing, supporting business development activity and building strong client relationships. As an employee-owned business, everyone has a voice and a stake in how the company evolves.

You will bring hands-on quantitative and qualitative research skills, gained in a research agency, with experience of managing projects end-to-end. Adept at analysing data to deliver insights that inform decision making, you will also have the curiosity, communication and interpersonal skills that nurture deep working relationships with both colleagues and clients alike.

Alongside a supportive and inclusive culture, benefits include volunteer leave, your birthday off and gym membership and a friendly sociable team environment.

If you are looking for varied research work that genuinely matters where you can grow your skills and make a real difference, apply today!
