An influential Director role at a thriving Strategic Insights Consultancy with offices across Australia. Already operating successfully in the Brisbane market, they’ve set their sights on expansion and this role will put you at the centre of everything as their founding Director in situ.
The Consultancy:

Role purpose:
To establish and expand the Brisbane practice. This includes servicing existing clients, new business opportunities, capability building, and team and thought leadership.
Key responsibilities:
  • Oversee client partnerships and ensure success
  • Identify new business opportunities and convert leads to wins
  • Immerse yourself in the client business to establish credibility and knowledge
  • Confidently tackle complex, multidisciplinary market research briefs and business issues
  • Triangulate, synthesise and interpret data to uncover commercial outcomes
  • An expert storyteller who can weave together the commercial narrative to inspire clients to action
  • Build and inspire a Brisbane team, investing in their growth and development
  • Represent and build the brand presence in QLD
Desired candidate profile:
  • Significant senior level experience in data strategy and research consultancy
  • Prior experience in a leading market/social research agency is essential.
  • Advanced quantitative and/or qualitative research skills
  • A critical and strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills
  • An expert storyteller, facilitator, and presenter
  • A commercial thinker who can see the bigger business picture 
  • Strong client servicing skills able to nurture and grow deep relationships
  • A track record of winning stakeholder buy-in
  • Authentic, down to earth - a we not me personality 
  • An entrepreneurial, ideas person
  • Previous experience in building teams and people’s careers
  • Well-networked in Brisbane
