Behavioural Insights Consultant - Real-World Change

Job description

Are you passionate about applying behavioural science to solve real problems, not just writing reports?

Join a consultancy that's using behavioural insights to drive real-world impact for commercial brands, both locally and internationally.
This independently owned, strategic, and fast-growing firm is a recognised leader in commercial behavioural science. Their work goes far beyond theory—they deliver tailored interventions that shift behaviour, drive growth, and produce measurable ROI.

Their approach to problem solving is grounded in combining academic and scientific rigour with qualitative & quantitative research, behavioural economics, analytics, and clever thinking.

The Role – Behavioural Insights Consultant

As a Behavioural Insights Consultant, you'll work end-to-end on bespoke consulting projects—from brief and behavioural diagnosis to solution design, testing, and implementation.
You won't just be conducting research, you’ll be working alongside a team of behavioural change consultants, designing real-world interventions, immersing yourself into your client's business and making change stick.

Working alongside a talented team of behavioural change consultants, this role will stretch both your analytical and creative muscles, left and right brain thinking as you:
  • Facilitate client conversations and lead project delivery
  • Explore, unpack, and diagnose behavioural challenges
  • Design and map methodologies and frameworks
  • Apply mixed-method (quant + qual) research to understand human behaviour
  • Conduct interviews, run workshops, and synthesise complex data
  • Test, refine, and implement behavioural interventions
  • Inspire and influence clients to adopt evidence-based change
The essentials:
  • Experience in consulting, market research, behaviour change, or strategy
  • Postgrad qualifications in behavioural science, psychology, or economics
  • The ability to bridge academia and business—translating complex ideas into simple, impactful actions
  • A strong working knowledge of behavioural frameworks: nudges, social norms, framing, feedback loops
  • Confidence dealing with ambiguity, diverse briefs, and non-linear problem-solving
  • An analytical and creative mind with natural curiosity
  • Commercial acumen and ability to build trust with clients
  •  A collaborative, grounded approach and genuine passion for learning
  • The energy and spark to contribute to a growing team in an exciting stage of evolution
