Job description

DLMW5709

Senior Research Manager - Professional Body - Clientside

Fully Remote (UK Based applicants only), £50-55,000 + good benefits

This membership organisation and representative body is looking for a talented research professional to lead their high-profile research programme. The organisation has an extensive membership of a fascinating profession and its work is wide-ranging - promoting the profession and its impact, influencing policy-makers and representing the interests of their members.

This is a great opportunity to be involved delivering a research programme at a time of significant transformation in this body's field of interest. You will manage quantitative and qualitative research on a diverse range of issues that affect their members and the wider sector.

Skilled in the design and management of projects, you will bring together and disseminate research and data to provide insights, reports and recommendations that will help shape service provision, marketing strategy and policy decisions. This role has both an internal and external outlook, working with stakeholders across the organisation, as well as external strategic partners and agencies, requiring the ability to effectively identify, build relationships, communicate with and influence a range of audiences.

With either research agency or clientside experience, you should have a sound grounding in a wide range of research methods (ideally both quantitative and qualitative) and be well-versed in developing bespoke research to address policy or strategy and marketing issues. Line management experience would be advantageous.

Experience gained working with a professional body is welcomed, however not essential.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your clientside research skills further in a fully remote (UK based) role
