Senior Quant Research Director - Insights, Growth & Advisory
Job description
Want to join a team that’s genuinely winning?
I’m partnering with a highly respected insights consultancy that’s been growing year-on-year and is now gearing up for its next phase of expansion. Their Sydney presence has real momentum - major client wins, serious marketing horsepower, and an infectious energy across the business. Now they’re looking for a Senior Quantitative Research Director to help shape what comes next.
Why this role matters
This is a senior, outward-facing role with real influence. You’ll step into the market as one of the agency’s commercial leaders - someone who spots opportunity early, turns ideas into compelling proposals, and builds deep, long-term client partnerships.
You’ll be trusted to pitch with confidence, advise at a senior level, and help influence the direction of a modern, growing insights business. And importantly, you won’t be doing it alone. The brand is already a magnet. With strong thought leadership, high-impact client events, a switched-on marketing and events function, and sponsorship across major industry platforms, there’s real momentum and visibility behind you.
What you’ll do
You’ll play a key role in driving growth for the Sydney office, from first conversations through to delivering outstanding work. You’ll own senior client relationships, immersing yourself in their commercial challenges and connecting them with the right thinking internally.
You’ll lead and elevate quantitative workstreams while collaborating closely with qualitative, culture, strategy and behaviour change specialists. You’ll bring a sharp commercial lens to proposals, pitches and pipeline development, and you’ll mentor and grow the next wave of researchers coming through.
What you’ll bring
If you’re a commercially minded insights leader looking for brand strength, real growth, and plenty of runway, this one is absolutely worth a confidential conversation.
In return, you can expect a market-leading benefits package and an amazing work culture.
To apply, send your CV to Rowan Haylett at rhaylett@resourcesgroup.com or call me on 0499 880 582 for a chat.

- You’re sharp, strategic and industry-facing.
- You bring established Director-level experience within a high-performing, commercially focused market research or insights consultancy.

- You’ll bring a strong foundation in quantitative insights, a proven ability to craft and win proposals, and confidence in partnering with multidisciplinary teams.
- You’ll have broad experience across brand, tracking, U&A, communications development, innovation and testing, alongside a growth mindset and collaborative leadership style.
- Most of all, you’ll have the credibility and presence of a true trusted advisor.
