Senior Market Research Manager - Top 4 Consulting firm

Job description

This role sits in a Top 4 Consulting Firm within a large, successful consumer insights and experience design practice.
  
You’ll work on some of the most challenging and interesting research projects around for commercial and government clients, as well as flagship global pieces of thought leadership and large transformation projects.
  
Critically, being part of a multi-disciplinary consulting firm means you will have access and exposure to wider business units to learn things and apply your end-to-end insights skills in new and alternative ways - organisation, marketing, strategy, operations, technology, transformations, mergers & acquisitions, digital and advanced analytics, across industries and geographies.
  
Key responsibilities and projects:
  • Delivering quantitative and qualitative research studies through the whole project lifecycle
  • A mix of meaningful social research projects for State and Federal Government clients
  • Very sharp, strategic, and stretchy commercial briefs for large Services and Retail brands
  • Developing client ready materials
  • Leading and mentoring people, fostering an innovative and inclusive culture
  • Working with different data sets to drive actionable strategies
  • Working on client proposals to help win and build accounts
  • Building strong client and stakeholder relationships across the business
  • Projects include; customer experience, segmentations, journey mapping, big U&A, behavioural science, branding, reputation, community impact, policy evaluation.
  • Vision to become a future leader in the business
  Key skills:
  • Significant research and insights experience, preferably in a research agency or consultancy
  • Broad methodological experience in quantitative research design
  • Experienced in qualitative methodologies like IDIs
  • Strong analytical, interpretation and writing skills
  • Sharp skills in transforming insights into business strategy
  • An influential presentation style
  • Experienced with stats packages like SPSS/Q
  • Experience in mentoring and supporting others
