Research Manager  (Full or Part-time option – 4 days a week) – Communications & Reputation Insights

Surrey (Hybrid c. 2 office days),   £40-46,000 pro rata

This award-winning specialist agency is growing fast, focusing on reputation, brand and communications research they partner with some of the world’s  leading organisations.  Keen to expand their research team at Research Manager/ Senior Research Manager level, they are open to talking to talented researchers looking for the flexibility of a 4-day week role.

Partnering closely with a Director, you’ll manage projects end to end - from concept through to delivery and final presentation from day one. The culture is supportive and progressive – there are no barriers to progression here!

Projects and clients are exceptionally varied and often global in scope, from understanding the impact of a government policy, gauging opinions on a brand’s ESG, understanding trust, testing communications with diverse customers. No two days are the same. Client sectors include consumer, public/ not for profit, utilities, financial, healthcare, and technology.

An engaging and dynamic role, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Partnering with clients, brands, and internal stakeholders to solve their challenges through quantitative (majority) and qualitative methodologies

  • Running projects end to end - taking beliefs, designing research, project management, data analysis, insight generation, report writing, presenting, and visual storytelling.

You’ll further your skills in:

  • Proposal writing, pitching, and client relationship management

  • Collaborating with internal departments across PR, communications & branding

  • Consulting and customised big picture thinking

What are the must-haves?

  • Commercial market research experience gained in a research agency or communication/reputation consultancy

  • An analytical mind and strong quantitative analysis and story telling experience

  • An entrepreneurial and curious spirit

  • Prior experience within branding, communications, and strategy research would be an advantage!
