Research Lead - Central London – Sports clients (football, rugby, motorsport and more!)

£55,000 - £65,000 + benefits

If you are an experienced quantitative researcher with a genuine interest in the sports sector then don’t miss out on this rare and exciting opportunity to join one of the top names in the industry and work with world-leading sport governing bodies, broadcasters, investors and sponsors on their strategic business goals!

Joining a small but market-leading team you will design, run, and deliver a range of higher value/profile custom, omnibus, global and syndicated research projects. As well as managing high level projects and building relationships with leading sports clients you’ll be responsible for direct management of Researchers who will in turn be managing the capacity, quality and output of sub-teams, and your skills as a people manager will be crucial in setting those teams up for success.

To apply for this role you will likely be working at the Associate Director or Research Director level currently. Any experience within the sports sector would be an advantage but above all you will need to be able to demonstrate passion and a real interest in working in the area. As this role has a strong focus on analysis and commercial reporting you will need exceptional experience in project delivery and the ability to bring data to life via creative and insightful presentations. Quantitative expertise will be crucial, as will you ability to lead and inspire teams and manage junior researchers.
