Research Consultant - Data + tech + real human insight

The work you’ll love:
  
  • Major brands including - financial services (banking and super), utilities (energy), major Australian universities, and big retailers
  • State, Federal Departments plus social organisations covering social equality, public health, financial wellbeing, ageing, human rights, gambling, education, water/road safety.
  • A variety of ad hoc projects including brand equity tracking, choice modelling, customer segmentation, new product/service development, usage and attitude, pricing strategy, behaviour change, communications testing and development.
  Key Responsibilities:
  • Confidently communicate with clients to understand and anticipate needs
  • Seeking increased responsibility for projects, with senior support and oversight
  • Help design quantitative surveys and analyse data, which you can overlay with a strategic perspective.
  • Qualitative research – including design of approach and fieldwork.
  • Help to craft reports and story led presentations
  • Help to present insights and strategic roadmaps to clients to fulfill commercial objectives
  • Leverage insights from alternative sources, like their fabulous trends monitor.
  • Mentoring of junior team members
  Candidate Profile:
  • A quant leaning researcher with some qual, or a dualist.
  • Minimum c2 years + experience working in market or social research
  • Recent agency experience
  • Passionate about working on a mix of commercial and social projects
  • Experience of customised, ad hoc research experience.
  • Know your way around Q or SPSS.
  • Committed, fun, down to earth and passionate about learning!
