We seek someone with a basic to intermediate proficiency in data development and analytical techniques who would relish joining one of Australia's leading strategic market research consultancies. This is role with fantastic learning opportunities – you'll develop skills as a Market Scientist working across things like:
Data Analysis Expertise: At least 1-2 years of experience in sophisticated data analysis and visualization.
Survey Data Proficiency: Hands-on experience with survey data is a must.
Technical Skills: Proficient in using SPSS/Q, with knowledge of R, Python, or Sawtooth being highly desirable.
BI/Dashboard Tools: Familiarity with business intelligence and dashboarding tools like Tableau and DisplayR.

- Data development methods: outlier detection, structuring/building, weighting, and imputation.
- Exploratory and predictive analytic techniques pertinent to marketing science.
- Core methodologies across brand, product, and experience: brand measurement framework, NPS, and concept testing.
- Collaborate with consultant teams to manage fieldwork, sampling, quotas, and weighting.
- Review and ensure the quality of questionnaires (e.g., programming instructions, question and scale format, QC testing of survey links).
- Prepare data files for analysis by cleaning, recoding, restructuring, and weighting, leveraging external data sources as needed.
- Deliver ad-hoc data analysis requests and present results concisely under the guidance of senior analytics team members.
- Manage client sample processes and specified data streams.
- Use analytical and data visualization tools (e.g., DisplayR and PowerBI) to support data analytics.
