Research Account Director - Opinion & Reputation Research

Job description

Work with c-suites and boards across public and private enterprises to measure and manage reputation across multiple markets and cultures.

Design research to build stronger relationships with the people who matter most, improving the effectiveness of communications, whilst developing strategies to manage reputation risk.

Key Responsibilities:
We’re looking for a senior insight professional with drive and ambition. Confidently able to take the lead in designing and delivering projects from proposal through to presentation, bringing creativity and commercial flair.
  • Accountability for a key client portfolio of ASX clients in almost every sector - defence, energy, healthcare, media, government, and financial services.
  • Lead a team of researchers and analysts – manage a couple of direct reports, advocating for their personal and professional development.
  • Designing multi-method research programs - quantitative and qualitative
  • Stakeholder engagement, workshop, and facilitation sessions
  • Insights & strategy development
  • Thought leadership – producing content, representing the agency at conferences, and getting involved in company initiatives.
  • Business development – spotting opportunities to organically extend relationships and services.

Who are you?
We are looking for a seasoned research professional with experience working at a recognised research agency using primary, customised quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
Prior experience in corporate reputation research is highly regarded but not essential if you can demonstrate experience and passion for opinion or brand/communication research.
You’ll have the gravitas to be able to engage to senior stakeholders and break down complex issues and solve problems.
You’ll be a natural leader of people, clients and culture always looking or ways to elevate processes of thinking to make a positive impact.
