Qualitative Research Director - World Class Social Research

Dedicated to using its specialist expertise across social, health and government services, they offer their clients a full range of survey design, survey data management, evaluation statistical consulting, analytical thinking, quantitative and qualitative methodologies. They have an established track record of delivering quality projects to exacting standards and they are acknowledged as a centre for excellence in the provision of social and health research services.
  
They are currently seeking a Qualitative Research Director to join the business and be part of the leadership team for the specialist Qualitative division.
  
In this senior role, you will have responsibility for leading the development, design and implementation of a variety of social research projects, covering:
  • Australian society
  • Education and training
  • Health and wellbeing
  • Employment transitions and the labour market
  • Business and employers
  • Marginalised and vulnerable communities.
Fully competent in all stages of the research project cycle, you have strong skills across client leadership, research design, insights and reporting. Providing excellent client service is key, and you will help to answer difficult questions with practical answers whilst providing high-quality research advice.
  
As a Research Director, there is also the opportunity to lead, mentor and develop a team of smart researchers as well as promoting the reputation and brand of the agency to create new business opportunities.
  
You
  • A minimum of 7/8 years of research experience (ideally in social research)
  • Well-developed qualitative research skills
  • The ability to mentor and motivate junior researchers
  • Demonstrated expertise in client management and writing winning proposals.
