Qualitative Associate Director - Ground-breaking FMCG & Retail Insights

The Work

Never a dull moment! Projects are super varied and include customer journey mapping, user experience testing, accompanied shops, innovation, range optimisation, product pricing, ad testing, package optimisation, and behavioural segmentation.

Clients are mainly fmcg brands, retailers, and restaurants. Everyone in the business is a real foodie and they love spending their time exploring new cafes, restaurants, and recipes together along side the day to day of the job!

As a qualitative expert, you will report into the Head of Qual and be given full autonomy over projects. You will run things from pitch to presentation, using a range of face to face and digital techniques, constantly developing your product and industry knowledge. You will be integral to the growth and development of the team, mentoring junior researchers and using your own innovative ideas and creative story telling to deliver high-impact work and develop forward-thinking approaches.

About you
  • Strong qualitative research skills gained from a market research agency or brand consultancy. This will include IDIs, groups, ethnography
  • Enthusiasm for the fmcg/cpg sector – specifically food and drink!
  • Brilliant client skills and the ability to develop lasting relationships
  • Someone who thrives in a fun, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
