Partner/Director - Behavioural science consultancy
Job description
Our client is an award-winning global insight and strategy consultancy with behavioural science at its core, committed to solving real-world problems.
With offices in Sydney, London, Brooklyn, and Shanghai, they are a culturally diverse team of multi-disciplinary thinkers who sit at the interception of research, management consulting and behavioural science.
By combining academic rigour with qualitative and quantitative research and the latest thinking in behavioural science, they look beyond the obvious, diving into the subconscious factors that influence human behaviour and designing tangible and implementable solutions to nudge and shift positive change.
Global commercial enterprises, government departments and NGOs entrust this agency to tackle critical social, ecological, economic, and organisational challenges. Exceptionally varied in one week alone, you will develop public safety campaigns for bushfires in rural communities, encourage safe public transport behaviour, design global behavioural led-communications campaigns for a technology ride-share, and reduce sexual harassment within the workplace – no two days are the same.
As a director, you'll have a seat at the leadership table, with the opportunity to influence, shape and drive impact from day one.

- Managing and growing high-profile client partnerships build on trust
- Oversee all elements of projects from proposal, to design, final delivery and implementation – you’re not afraid to jump on the tools and roll up your sleeves when required and enjoy getting stuck in the data
- Driving client briefings and proposals and providing overall management for a range of projects, including financial proposals and financial management
- Designing complex quantitative solutions and frameworks to assist with the development of strategic outcomes that exceed client expectations
- Leading and facilitating strategic client workshops, including training in the application of BE with c-suite executives
- Bringing together diverse viewpoints and data sources to design, deliver, and implement evidence-based and pragmatic solutions
- Coach, mentor and manage a team of ambitious and exceptionally brilliant researchers/strategists and behavioural thinkers
- Partnering with the CEO and c-suite leadership team to bring new ideas, solutions, and client partnerships to the table
- Extensive prior experience in quantitative research, consumer psychology, business strategy, management consulting or behavioural science
- Exceptional ability to build trusted commercial client partnerships
- An empathetic management style, committed to accelerating your team's career progression
- Skilled in quantitative research methodologies and techniques, with an in-depth understanding of behavioural science principles (nudges, heuristics, biases, etc.)
- Comfort working within ambiguous problem spaces and working as part of a cross-functional team
- A skilled Ability to translate research findings into tangible and implementable recommendations and bring them to life
- An academic background in Psychology / Behavioural Science / Behavioural Economics / Social Statistics / Experimental Design
