As an Energy & Climate Analyst you'll play a crucial insights orientated role for this non-profit think-tank which supports informed debate on energy and climate change issues in the UK.

As such you'll develop skills in strategic insights, cover analysis and report writing using quantitative and qualitative data, be part of a team that puts together blogs, articles, briefing notes and commentary on all aspects of the UK’s net zero transition, and progress into a trusted and objective source who can help explain developments and analysis on UK decarbonisation to a range of audiences.

Alongside a good analytical background (data analysis skills are essential) that includes familiarity with government and other data sets, and the ability to shrewdly analyse data and use it to tell a story, you'll also have interest in the key challenges and opportunities associated with the UK’s transition to net zero, appreciation of the wider political and economic context within which net zero sits, and have probably followed UK energy and climate policy and/or the political landscape.

This Energy & Climate Analyst role is undoubtedly influential and is a great move for someone with the skills/knowledge regarding the aforementioned, especially at this crucial time. Thus your work will undoubtedly make a difference!
