As the business continues to expand its presence in Sydney, they are looking for an Associate Director to play a pivotal role in leading client relationships, guiding project teams and delivering impactful strategic work.

The Opportunity
This is a senior consulting role where you will take ownership of key client accounts while also contributing to the growth and development of a talented insights team.
You’ll be responsible for shaping research approaches, leading complex strategic studies, and translating evidence into compelling commercial recommendations.

Typical projects may include:
  • Brand and positioning strategy
  • Segmentation and audience understanding
  • Innovation and concept optimisation
  • Product and service development
  • Customer experience and journey insights
  • Strategic growth and opportunity identification
Beyond project delivery, you’ll act as a trusted advisor to clients and help cultivate long-term partnerships built on insight-led thinking.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Leading end-to-end insights projects from brief through to strategic recommendations
  • Designing robust research frameworks that answer complex business questions
  • Building and nurturing senior client relationships
  • Coaching and mentoring consultants to elevate both technical and consulting skills
  • Crafting compelling narratives that connect data with commercial strategy
  • Supporting proposal development and contributing to the new business pipeline
  • Playing an active role in shaping a collaborative, high-performing team culture
What We’re Looking For
  • 6-8 years’ experience in a market research or insights consultancy
  • Strong expertise in quantitative research, with exposure to strategic ad-hoc studies
  • Experience managing projects and guiding more junior team members
  • A natural storyteller who can translate data into clear, persuasive insight
  • Strong commercial instincts and the ability to build trusted client partnerships
  • Curiosity about human behaviour and how people think, feel and make decisions
