The Company

Their Sydney-based insights team blends primary research (quant & qual), media intelligence, social listening, and predictive analytics to deliver powerful, people-centric strategies that shape public perception and drive meaningful change.
The Role
As Senior Research Consultant, you’ll take ownership of end-to-end research projects, from scoping and design through to delivery and client presentation. You’ll work across a diverse portfolio of clients and topics, from policy impact and social issues to brand strategy and audience segmentation delivering insights that inform communications, reputation, and engagement strategies.
You’ll be trusted to manage projects with autonomy, liaise directly with clients, and contribute to thought leadership and innovation within the team. You’ll also mentor junior researchers and collaborate closely with senior stakeholders across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage quantitative and qualitative research projects independently
Develop proposals, manage budgets, and ensure timely delivery of insights
Translate complex data into compelling narratives and strategic recommendations
Build strong client relationships and contribute to business development
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including PR, strategy, and analytics
About You:
4+ years of experience in commercial research, ideally within an agency or consultancy
Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills
Confident managing projects end-to-end with minimal supervision
Excellent communication and storytelling abilities
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
Curious, proactive, and passionate about the role of insights in shaping strategy
