Job description
How does marketing actually change behaviour, perceptions, and culture?
This national insights agency is deeply curious about exactly that - and they’re growing a team that blends rigorous quantitative science with smart, creative thinking. You’ll work at the intersection of brand, advertising, and public impact, helping shape and evaluate campaigns that genuinely move the needle.
With a strong focus on social and government clients (including close ties to Federal Government), you’ll also enjoy exposure to commercial brands — giving you variety, stretch, and balance in your work.
The Role:
You’ll support a highly experienced senior team delivering brand equity tracking, campaign evaluation, and strategic ad hoc research. This is a hands-on role suited to a technically capable researcher who enjoys precision, problem-solving, and turning data into clear, compelling stories.
Projects span multiple government departments and social issues, alongside punchy commercial briefs — meaning no two days look the same.
What you’ll be doing
Managing quantitative research projects end-to-end (tracking & ad hoc)
Designing surveys aligned to strategic objectives and client needs
Overseeing data collection to ensure quality, accuracy, and timelines
Analysing data and crafting insight-led, narrative-driven reports
Responding to client queries and building trusted working relationships
Developing your profile as a specialist in brand, behaviour, advertising & communications research
What we’re looking for
Experience in a market or social research agency
Strong grounding in quantitative methodologies – ad hoc and tracking
Confident data analysis skills (SPSS/Q) and report writing
Interest or experience in brand equity, advertising or campaign evaluation
High attention to detail with the ability to juggle timelines and priorities
Why you’ll love it here
A respected, established research agency brand
Backed by an eminent Marketing & Communications group rife with internal opportunity
Smart, supportive senior leaders invested in your development
Progressive, innovative research practices
