Job description

Want to join a consultancy that’s genuinely winning and still feels like it’s only just getting started?
I’m partnering with an award-winning insights consultancy with serious momentum in Sydney. They’re growing fast, attracting top-tier talent, and building a reputation for solving complex business problems with clarity, creativity, and commercial impact.
Now they’re looking for a Quantitative Business Director - a senior leader who can drive growth, deepen client partnerships, and help shape the next phase of the Sydney team.

Why this role matters
This is a high-profile, outward-facing role with real influence.
You’ll sit at the intersection of commercial growth, client leadership and best-in-class quantitative research, playing a key part in building a stronger footprint in Sydney. You’ll be trusted as a senior advisor.  Someone who can confidently operate in the boardroom, identify opportunities early, and turn complex challenges into impactful insight-led solutions.
You’ll also be joining a connected, high-performing team culture, with senior leaders working hands-on alongside you and a genuine appetite for collaboration across disciplines.

In this role, you will:
  • Lead and grow key client relationships, becoming a trusted partner to senior stakeholders
  • Drive new business opportunities-  from early conversations through to proposals and pitches
  • Design and deliver strong quantitative solutions across a broad mix of project types
  • Collaborate with specialists across qualitative, culture, strategy and behaviour change
  • Bring commercial thinking to how work is scoped, positioned and delivered
  • Mentor and develop researchers, helping build capability and confidence across the team
What you’ll bring
You’re a commercially minded insights leader with a strong quantitative foundation. You’ll likely have:
  • Senior-level experience in an insights consultancy environment (Director / Business Director level)
  • Proven strength in client leadership, relationship development and commercial growth
  • Confidence across quantitative approaches, including tracking, U&A, brand and comms development/testing, innovation and NPD
  • The ability to connect insight to business strategy and decision-making
  • A collaborative, curious style and the credibility to influence senior stakeholders
  • A genuine interest in developing others and lifting capability across a team
What’s on offer
  • A key leadership role in a growing Sydney team with strong momentum
  • The chance to work alongside some of the sharpest minds in the industry
  • A modern office location with flexibility to work from home
  • A genuinely connected, values-led culture
  • A highly competitive salary package
Interested?
If you’re a senior quantitative insights leader looking for a role with real influence, growth runway, and a high-performing culture, I’d love to speak with you confidentially.
