Job description

This consumer insights consultancy understands the why behind human behaviour and is an expert at translating data into insights-led solutions and recommendations that solve big for future-focused commercial organisations.
They have a multi-faceted strategic outlook grounded in rigour, with a digital-first approach across qualitative and qualitative methodologies combined with consulting, data visualisation and storytelling. They solve the right problems, with the right solutions.
Their consultative approach means they’re experts in distilling the complexities of data and delivering results clearly, concisely, and impactfully.
This role is perfect for an experienced quant research practitioner (Account Director or aspiring Director) who enjoys the full gamut of quantitative research and marketing sciences methods.  Someone who can switch between managing tracking and ad-hoc research projects, run segmentation and choice models, problem solve, think creatively, integrate, triangulate and synthesise data and lead juniors along the way.
As an Associate Director, you will know how to understand client problems and deliver insights cleverly that drive tangible impact, ROI and commercial growth.  Confident with all elements of the consulting process – you will be equally sure to unpick client briefs, design research methodologies, and deliver outstanding quant insights and recommendations at the c-suite finish line.
Their client list is enviable, with names across Telecommunications, FMCG, Retail, Technology, NFP and Services from international global organisation chips to emerging local start-ups.
Given their strategic client partnerships, you’ll get to answer highly strategic and big-picture thinking questions across diverse topics – segmentation, brand positioning, consumer experience, innovation, U&A, pricing strategies, and demand forecasting. The quantitative team draws on advanced analytics with exposure to conjoint analysis and regression.
This role combines the art and science of interrogative data analytics and compelling storytelling consulting.
The agency has a calm and nurturing environment with supportive leaders. Independently owned, they put their people at the heart of everything they do, and this is reflected in their generous remuneration, tailored progression, flexible working, and brilliant employee benefits.
The essentials:
  • 5+ years of commercial research and insights agency experience

  • Proven experience managing customised ad-hoc projects end-to-end
  • An engaging personality and a confident presenter
  • Genuine desire to lead and mentor juniors
  • A strategic mindset, seen as a trusted client insights partner
