Quant / Qual Research Manager – Social Research – Trade policy
London / Hybrid working - £Excellent + strong benefits
This fast growing team of social researchers and evaluators carry out a wide range of qual and quant projects addressing some of the most important challenges facing society. You will work in a specialist team on topics such as
Understanding how and why businesses grow and are successful
Getting to grips with the challenges faced by different types of businesses such as SMEs or tech industries
How UK organisations can meet their Net Zero commitments
How the UK trades with other countries and understanding businesses and public perceptions of this
The team’s work has influenced policies and strategies and supported new businesses to deal with challenges such as cyber crime.
In terms of previous experience, you will be confident managing ad-hoc and fast-turnaround research projects.A mixed-methods background would be ideal, and you’ll relish the opportunity to direct high profile studies which influence government policy and decisions.
Some experience of writing and costing winning proposals would be advantageous, and you’ll have excellent client management skills, able to confidently deliver insights and narratives.
