As a Qualitative Research Consultant, you will work on a wide range of meaningful and impactful projects, exploring topics such as environmental conservation, education, policy and governance, social licence, community sentiment, communications, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
Stakeholder management: Day to day interaction with various stakeholders. Attending meetings, distilling the important action points.
Qual Facilitation: Moderation of focus groups and in-depth interviews with a range of audiences – including general public, stakeholders and CALD audiences
Project Management: Overseeing the smooth running of qualitative research projects to time and budget and working with external suppliers.
Research Design + Data Analysis: You’ll have a high attention to detail for designing discussion guides, qual materials and supporting the design of multi-method projects with quant.
Writing & Presenting Skills: Identify key findings and craft the overall project narrative, communicating insights clearly and concisely in reports and presentations

Selection criteria:
- 3/4+ years’ experience in qualitative research, preferably from another social research agency or similar
- Relevant graduate or postgraduate qualifications
- Strong qualitative research skills including moderation skills - focus groups/depth
- Experience of contributing to the full project flow – proposal to presentation
- High attention to detail & problem-solving skills
