Qualitative Director –  Combine traditional qual with cutting-edge behavioural science techniques!

Global Research and Strategy Consultancy

London - £65,000 - £80,000

Imagine if you could really combine your interest in consumer psychology and behavioural economics with your consumer research expertise? Have you always dreamed of joining a consultancy that not only champions but leads the industry in new ways of thinking? This is your chance!

This growing global boutique specialise in understanding and influencing behaviour and provide fresh approaches to marketing and insight challenges, blending Behavioural Science techniques with qualitative methods. They have enjoyed huge success over the last few years (including winning multiple awards) and are on the lookout for a new Qualitative Director to join their talented team.

The purpose of your role will be to help lead and develop the consultancy’s qualitative offering, combining your primary research skills with your interest in behavioural science and behavioural economics. The clients you can expect to be working with include big name brands in tech, healthcare and fmcg, as well as several social and government clients. Project types cover the whole marketing mix and always involve a blend of methodologies. You could find yourself using behavioural science to investigate how to position plant-based products in new markets, reposition a healthy snack brand, re-shape a tech brands digital self service ecosystem, or unlock new ways to tackle apathy in oral care.

As well as taking the lead on strategic thinking in projects and leading client relationships you will also take online management of junior team members, helping them grow in skills and confidence.

Extensive experience running qualitative research projects for consumer brands from within an agency environment is essential, as is a keen interest in behavioural science. You don’t need to have lots of experience running behavioural science based projects, but must be able to demonstrate why you are interested in using these techniques and an eagerness to become an expert!

In return for your skills and experience you will receive an excellent starting salary, benefits, and the chance to be part of a forward-thinking, innovative agency with a brilliant culture!
