Market Research Consultant - Drive Transformational Change!
Job description
Are you looking to make a difference in a globally recognised consultancy?
Our client is a leader in the market research industry, delivering data-driven insights that fuel transformational change and business growth for major financial services brands.
They’re known for their deep expertise in banking, superannuation, financial planning, and funds management and their ability to turn insights into action. When they speak, the industry listens.
This international boutique consultancy has offices in Sydney, Perth, Melbourne, and London. It has an impressive global brand reputation and clientele and agile and entrepreneurial working methods (it’s the best of both worlds).
The role: Market Research Consultant
As the Sydney team expands, they’re searching for a Market Research Consultant with 2+ years of commercial quantitative experience. You’ll be involved in all aspects of the research quantitative process: engaging clients, designing questionnaires, analysing data, generating insights, and presenting findings—whether in workshops, videos, podcasts, conferences, or through social media.
You’ll work on ad-hoc and tracking projects for top financial institutions, including banks, super funds, and wealth management firms, exploring brand sentiment, client satisfaction, consumer behaviour, and market positioning.
One day, you’ll explore generational attitudes toward investments; the next, you’ll unpack the cost-of-living crisis and delve into the challenge of retirement in today's world. They’ve also recently conducted fascinating research into high-net-worth female investors and their treatment in the market, driving important conversations on equality and gender within the financial services sector on a global scale.
The insights you uncover will drive real change and influence key decisions in the financial sector.
What You Bring to the Team:
18 months+ of commercial market research agency experience
Quantitative and analytical skills with SPSS/Q
Strong consulting and storytelling skills, bringing data to life
Curiosity, personality and drive to further your market research skills
You’ll be directly mentored by senior leaders who will refine your skills in quant and qual methods, consulting, presentation, and leadership – with fast-tracked progression pathways, hybrid working, one-on-one mentoring and regular social events.
To apply, contact Emily Moser at Resources Group at emoser@resourcesgroup.com or call +61 449 172 882 for more details.
