FMCG & Retail Insights Strategist

Job description

Play an influential and strategic role with the major FMCG manufacturers and Retailers, leveraging the power of rich customer data and insights.  
  
You’ll craft meaning and connection for customers at every touchpoint working on a constant stream of customised research projects including New Brand Development, Portfolio Optimisation, Communications Testing & Target Market Identification.
  
Big strategic conceptual pieces of work right through to ad-hoc fast turnaround pieces of work. No two days will be the same, tackling new briefs and creating bespoke frameworks to solve wicked consumer challenges.

The Role & Required skills:
  • Strong quantitative research skills – designing research approaches and analyses.
  • Skilled with SPSS/Q to dive into data sets and draw strategic conclusions.
  • Well-developed project management skills with the capacity to manage competing priorities, deliverables and deadlines
  • Designing and creating concise and visually impactful presentations
  • Presenting findings in an influential and impactful way
  • Able to tie in research findings to the business objective
  • Confident manner with clients
  • Great writing skills for reports, presentations and generating content
  • Passionate about working with major food & drink clients on projects like U&A, New Product Development, Planograms, Claims Testing, Shopper Journey Mapping, Price, and Pack Refinement.
  • The desire for ongoing learning and development.
