Senior Research Consultant - Social & Government Research

Job description

Work collaboratively within a strong, national Social & Government team. On all the right panels, this agency wins and delivers rigorous evidence-based insights through quantitative and qualitative research frameworks.
As a Senior Research Consultant, you’ll confidently manage projects from proposal to presentation. We’re looking for a strategic thinker, committed to finding solutions for S&G clients who can build positive relationships with clients and the team.
We’re looking for an ambitious social researcher who wants more responsibilities and clear growth pathways.
  
Core responsibilities:
  
Positive Societal Impact: Myriad of social issues like gambling, social equality, education, public health, transport, water safety, preventing violence against women and children.
  
Research Cycle: Quantitative & Qualitative research design, interpretive reporting, and analysis through to presentation.
  
Analytical skills: Flexing your statistical skills using Q, SPSS, Excel to jump into data sets and visualise data to tell the story.
  
Projects: Projects span social marketing, behaviour change, communications campaign research – strategy and evaluation, and stakeholder consultation.
  
Client Relations: This is a client facing role building rapport with stakeholders in local/state/federal government, social organisations and NFP.
  
Proposal writing: Craft your skills in building up your network, spotting opportunities and writing winning proposals.
