Research Consultant - #1 Agency for Career Development!
Job description
Join the top agency for career development in the Strategy, Insights, and Market Research industry - with clear, fast-tracked promotional pathways!
With a genuine belief that their success stems from their people, this consultancy invests heavily in individual growth. Expect 1:1 mentoring, personalised L&D plans, 360 reviews, external training, cutting-edge AI and tech tools, and a nurturing, collaborative environment. You’ll learn more in one year here than in three elsewhere.
This 100% independently owned insights consultancy helps commercial and social clients optimise brands, products, and experiences through evidence-based, data-driven insights. Their multidisciplinary approach spans quantitative research, data analytics, behavioural science, qualitative research, data visualisation, and consulting. As a B-Corp-certified organisation, they walk the talk — partnering only with clients who share their commitment to people, community, and the environment. Their work creates real-world impact.
The Role: Research Consultant
As the Sydney team continues to grow, they’re looking for analytical, curious thinkers with 12–18 months’ experience in market research. You’ll work closely with senior mentors on some of the agency’s most successful commercial client accounts and gain exposure to a wide range of methodologies.
Responsibilities:
• Contribute to a steady flow of tracking and ad-hoc projects
• Manage client relationships with confidence and care
• Support seniors with proposals and research design
• Design surveys and quantitative methodologies
• Analyse data using tools like SPSS or Q
• Join qualitative fieldwork sessions
• Translate data into clear stories, solutions, and recommendations
• Craft compelling reports that bring insights to life
• Build data visualisations and deliver engaging presentations
You’ll work across an exciting mix of briefs, including brand health, pricing architecture, segmentation, advertising effectiveness, customer experience, U&As, comms testing, innovation, and new product development.
If you’re a research enthusiast seeking variety, growth, and meaningful impact, this is a brilliant next step.
In addition to competitive salaries, the agency offers excellent benefits - additional leave, hybrid working, beautiful open-plan offices, regular social events, and a genuinely supportive culture.
