We’re partnering with a respected research consultancy that’s on the hunt for a well-rounded Research Consultant to join their Sydney-based team.

This independent agency has been delivering strategic insight and research solutions to high-profile clients across financial services, wealth, superannuation, and insurance for over two decades. They’re known for their entrepreneurial spirit, smart thinking, and human-centric insights.

🔍 About the Role:

This is a true end-to-end research role, blending client engagement with hands-on execution. You’ll be:

• Designing and delivering both qualitative and quantitative projects

• Crafting discussion guides, writing surveys, moderating interviews/focus groups

• Analysing findings and preparing client-ready reports and presentations

• Presenting to clients and supporting project delivery across financial services

🧠 About You:

You bring:

• 1-3+ years of research experience (agency or consultancy)

• Excellent written communication and storytelling skills

• Experience in financial services is not essential. However, a genuine interest in finance, consumer behaviour, and human decision-making is.

• The ability to juggle multiple projects with structure and autonomy

Bonus points if you’ve worked in or with financial services, and are familiar with tools like Q or qualitative moderation techniques.
