Quantitative Research Director - Behavioural Science Consultancy

This highly successful consultancy are experts at decoding and influencing decision-making. Working for government, not for profit and commercial clients, they blend primary quantitative and qualitative research with behavioural approaches, seeking to understand what biases and concepts are in play and how these can be utilised to unlock new insights and drive action and change.
  
The Role
  
Having enjoyed huge success globally over the last few years (including winning multiple awards) the team are on the lookout for a Director to help grow their quantitative offering in Australia.
  
To be based in either Sydney or Melbourne, the purpose of your role will be to sit alongside other senior team members and help lead and develop the consultancy’s deployment of quantitative methods. As well as offering strategic thinking and remaining hands-on with projects, you will be leading client relationships and play a key role in training and mentoring of junior team members, helping them grow in skills and confidence.
  
The clients you can expect to be working with include government departments, and big names brands in tech, healthcare, and services. Projects will be hugely varied but could include innovation, experience design, and communication development, and you can expect exposure to a range of methodologies and approaches including choice modelling and behavioural conjoint, behavioural testing and validation, surveys, eye tracking, co-creation and more.
  
What will you have?
  • Strong agency side experience running quantitative projects from pitch to presentation
  • Background in BSci and experience using frameworks from behavioural science to underpin your projects
  • Great communication and client management capabilities
  • Ability to lead projects and be a senior strategic voice
  • A curious, challenger mindset who loves to stay at the forefront of thinking and tech
  • Experience mentoring/managing junior team members
