Product and Portfolio Manager – Hybrid or Full Remote Working – Health / Social

Up to circa £46,500 + Benefits

This International healthcare charity works with government bodies, charities, NHS trusts and academic institutions to understand patients experience of care. Their expertise covers all stages of the research process from design through to delivery, running prestigious large scale surveys as well as smaller bespoke studies – they are committed to producing actionable and meaningful insight to drive advances in healthcare standards and deliver the highest quality person centred care.

Joining as the Product and Portfolio Manager you will play a key role in the introduction of new products and services. You will work closely with colleagues including researchers, data scientists, and project managers to identify and develop innovative ideas into services that can be marketed. By building an understanding of customer needs and our capabilities, you will help to deliver products and services that support growth and charitable impact.

You will have responsibility for meeting a new business target, which will be achieved mainly via lead generation through marketing content and campaigns, working closely with the Marketing and Communication Manager. This position will require a track record of success in product lifecycle management and/or product development.

 Key responsibilities:

  • Manage the existing product portfolio, reviewing the existing offering in relation to market trends and client needs

  • Develop detailed product knowledge across the portfolio of products, assessing financial performance and product / service viability

  • Recommend and oversee product improvements using market demand and customer feedback to identify changes that need to be made.

  • Developing industry sector knowledge and staying well informed of market developments, trends and demand

  • Tracking market gaps and spotting product development opportunities

  • Working closely with marketing and comms colleagues to communicate and promote products and services
