Market Research Manager - Top 4 Consulting firm

Job description

This role sits in a Top 4 Consulting Firm within a large, successful consumer insights and experience design practice.
  
You’ll work on some of the most challenging and interesting research projects around for commercial and government clients, as well as flagship global pieces of thought leadership and large transformation projects.
  
Critically, being part of a multi-disciplinary consulting firm means you will have access and exposure to wider business units to learn things and apply your end-to-end insights skills in new and alternative ways - organisation, marketing, strategy, operations, technology, transformations, mergers & acquisitions, digital and advanced analytics, across industries and geographies.
  
Key responsibilities and projects:  
  • Managing quantitative and qualitative research studies throughout the project lifecycle
  • Undertaking social research projects for State and Federal Government clients
  • Handling strategic commercial briefs for large Services and Retail brands
  • Developing client-ready materials
  • Leading and mentoring team members to foster an innovative and inclusive culture
  • Working with different data sets to drive actionable strategies
  • Assisting with client proposals to win and build accounts
  • Building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders across the business
  • Projects may include customer experience, segmentations, journey mapping, big U&A (usage and attitudes), behavioral science, branding, reputation, community impact, and policy evaluation.
  • Having a vision to become a future leader within the organization
  
Key skills:  
  • Extensive research and insights experience, preferably in a research agency or consultancy
  • Broad knowledge of quantitative research design methodologies
  • Experience in qualitative methodologies such as in-depth interviews (IDIs)
  • Strong analytical, interpretation, and writing skills
  • Ability to transform insights into business strategy effectively
  • Influential presentation style
  • Proficiency with statistical packages like SPSS/Q
  • Experience in mentoring and supporting team members
