Business Development Manager - SaaS (Product Intelligence / FMCG Focus)

A high-growth global SaaS business is rapidly expanding its footprint in Australia and seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to lead new business acquisition in the market.

This organisation sits at the forefront of product intelligence, helping global brands make faster, more confident decisions through real-time consumer
insight, AI-powered analysis and behavioural science-led methodologies.

This is a rare opportunity to step into a foundational role, with the autonomy to build a pipeline, win new clients, and play a key part in establishing a scalable go-to-market function locally.

The role
Take ownership of new business development across ANZ, with a clear focus on acquiring new logos and building revenue.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Driving new business acquisition to deliver against revenue targets
  • Identifying, engaging and winning clients across FMCG/CPG, grocery retail, food & beverage and QSR sectors
  • Selling a SaaS-based product intelligence platform into marketing, insights, category, NPD, product and commercial teams
  • Positioning a solution that enables brands to test products, pricing and campaigns and access rapid consumer feedback to inform decision-making
  • Building and managing a robust pipeline, with a strong monthly forecasting cadence
  • Developing long-term client relationships to support ongoing growth
  • Contributing to the evolution of the Australian commercial function as it scales
About you
You are a self-motivated and commercially focused sales professional who thrives in an autonomous environment and see’s the huge opportunity of building markets from the ground up.
You will bring:
  • Proven experience in new business development and lead generation
  • A strong track record of winning new business and opening new accounts
  • Experience selling SaaS or software solutions
  • Confidence operating independently, with a proactive and outcomes-driven mindset
  • Familiarity with short sales cycles and structured sales methodologies (e.g. SPIN)
  • Exposure to insights, research, or data-led solutions is advantageous
  • An existing network in FMCG
