Account Director - Fast-Growing Independent Agency

One to watch, this market research agency is independently owned and rapidly growing. They pride themselves on their passion and energy for research and their clients love them for it! With a national presence, they are currently looking to hire an Account Director to be based within their fast-growing Melbourne office.
  
As a business, they specialise in solving commercial and social challenges through a blend of qualitative and quantitative research, analytics, data science, and neuroscience.
  
As an Account Director, you’ll play a pivotal role in the Melbourne team, managing existing client relationships while supporting with writing proposals and mentoring junior team members. You'll be involved in end-to-end project management, handling both ad-hoc and tracking research initiatives for a diverse range of clients.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and help grow relationships with S&G and commercial clients, providing exceptional service and insights tailored to their needs.
  • Lead end-to-end research projects, from proposal development to final deliverables, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
  • Mentor junior team members, fostering their growth and development within the organization.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the organization to drive innovation and excellence in research methodologies and approaches.
  Requirements:
  • 4-6 years of experience in quantitative-focused research, preferably within a consulting or agency environment.
  • Demonstrated experience working with a diverse range of clients and industries.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deliverables effectively.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a knack for translating complex insights into actionable recommendations.
  • A collaborative mindset and a passion for mentoring and developing others.
