Deliver research projects within one of the most innovative and fast moving areas of policy both in the UK and Internationally!

As a Research Manager within the Energy and Environment team, you will be working in a mixed methods capacity influencing energy and environment policy across national and international governments.

The team conduct evaluations on key policy priorities (energy innovation, decarbonisation, circular economy, air quality and agricultural transition), working internationally on net zero projects and climate change adaptation.

You will also have the opportunity to increase the agency’s impact on energy and environment policy and social change in the UK by writing articles, attending events and engaging in social media. Business development will also feature in the role, by contributing to proposal writing and nurturing client relationships.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing high profile quantitative and qualitative projects which influence and inform energy and environment policy. This will involve being the main point of contact for clients and managing studies from inception through to final reports and presentations, or managing strands of larger projects

  • Contributing to proposals

  • Supporting the development of the team (eg line management)
