Job description

CEB201

Qualitative Associate Director –  Leading Behavioural Science & Strategic Research Consultancy

London/Hybrid - £55,000 - £65,000 + great bens

Imagine if you could really combine your interest in consumer psychology and behavioural economics with your consumer research expertise? Have you always dreamed of joining a consultancy that not only touches upon but leads the industry in new ways of thinking? This is your chance!

This growing global boutique have enjoyed huge success over the last few years (including winning multiple awards) and are on the lookout for a new Qualitative Associate Director (or Director for the right candidate) to join their talented team.

The purpose of your role will be to help lead and develop the consultancy’s qualitative offering, combining your primary research skills with your interest in behavioural science theories.

The clients you can expect to be working with include big name brands in tech, healthcare and fmcg, as well as several social and government clients. Project types cover the whole marketing mix and always involve a blend of methodologies, using behavioural frameworks and experimental behavioural methods to underpin primary research.

As well as taking the lead on strategic thinking in projects and leading client relationships you manage and mentor junior team members - helping them grow in skills and confidence and have a real voice when it comes to business strategies, new approaches and ways of thinking.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience running commercial qualitative research projects from start to finish across a range of sectors and brand/business challenges.  You will be used to running multiple projects at once – from quick turnaround to large-scale strategic pieces, and be a strong client facer with expertise across both digital and face to face research methods such as focus groups, workshops, ethnography, interviews, surveys, online communities, and mobile diaries. Agency experience will be essential, as will a keen interest and some experience in the world of behavioural science.

In return for your skills and experience you will receive an excellent starting salary, benefits, and the chance to be part of a forward-thinking, innovative agency with a brilliant culture!
