€50,000 plus Commission; London/Germany/Remote
Really exciting opportunity in a growth orientated internationally renowned research & insights consultancy for an experienced BD Manager with fluent business German. Joining a new team and focusing primarily on German or wider DACH region clients, you'll be promoting their full portfolio of quantitative and qualitative consultancy services.
Location is less important over capability; you'll be selling across a range of verticals although this group is particularly known for its work with the healthcare/pharmaceutical, media, technology and FMCG markets. It will be a mixture of new business development and account management, at first weighted more towards new business with in time a leaning to account management as your client base expands. Enjoying a period of growth, the group is keen to increase its business development team and initiatives with initial focus on German clients, although as mentioned candidates can in theory be based anywhere - the group has a UK/Europe/USA presence overall.
Ideally you'll have strong experience selling market research/insights led services (sector experience less important), apply consultancy over transactional selling techniques, and be equally fluent in German/English to business levels. This is an opportune moment to join, given the group's ongoing expansionist plans, and it reflects a buoyancy in the research & insights sector that more agile consultancies are taking advantage of given they're less encumbered that the 'red tape' and outdated practices of legacy rivals.
