Associate Director – Mix of Government & Commercial clients

Our client is a strategic consultancy, powered by data and insight. Specialists in brand and communications, this market research agency partner with clients in the Commercial, Government and NFP sectors. They go beyond traditional research to understand the cultural, social and market context, drawing insight from a wider set of data and creating new ways to communicate and inspire.
Your key responsibilities in this Associate Director role will be to manage a range of quantitative research projects from start to finish. They’ll also be the opportunity to step into qual research for those that want it. This senior position will see you being hands-on, working on everything from preparing the initial research proposal, designing and managing the project, analysing the data (using software packages such as SPSS or Q), reporting and developing and maintaining effective client relationships. The work is an exciting mix of project types across brand strategy, campaign development, product and service innovation, culture and trends and segmentation and profiling.
As a senior member of the team, you will oversee the people resources on your projects and will take a proactive in training, whilst playing a big part in assisting the more junior members of staff with their development. You will have the opportunity to partner with clients across commercial and government sectors and there is a solid career progression pathway attached to this role.
• At least 6-8years’ experience in commercial and/or government market research
• Solid understanding of quantitative market research methodologies, analysis and insight generation
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships
• A people person, who can engage and inspire those they work with and manage
