Our client, a highly regarded insights, information and intelligence consultancy, has built its success on helping FMCG businesses understand these ever-changing consumer realities.

It has long been known that FMCG manufactures and their retail channels operate within some of the most competitive of commercial environments, where there is a constant strive for innovation, cut through and growth. For them knowledge is king and speed in understanding is queen.

This consultancy remains at the forefront of shopper insights, category analytics and trends reporting, and is the pulse the market wants its finger on, by undertaking non-stop national research and analysis to write impactful, concise reports that big businesses find invaluable for their business, category and brand planning.

They are currently looking to hire a Client Research Manager to manage a key portfolio of FMCG manufactures and retailers. The role of a Client Research Manager is to ensure that the client gets the most from the reports and consultancy services they purchase, with high levels of client satisfaction being the end game. Client Research Managers in this business take the time to get to know their client’s key business issues and challenges and have the smarts to find the relevant stories in the data. Powered with this understanding and combined with strong sector knowhow they add value to clients advising across category and shopper insights.

Key requirements:

• A proven track record in client management and a natural ability to build relationships with people at all levels.
• 3-4 plus years’ experience within information, intelligence, research or category insights gained either agency or clientside
• An in-depth understanding of the FMCG sector and an ability to create compelling
• Fantastic communication skills
• A persuasive manner
• A commercial outlook
