Based in an upmarket, picturesque part of London, you'll join a renowned international insights & data group whose property consulting arm helps investors, developers and local authorities make strategic decisions regarding retail development via invaluable research. Your role will be to effectively run the market research side of their offering, and thus work closely with consultants/project managers and clients to produce key additional insights to complement the advice being offered.
Essentially you'll be running a range of online surveys designed to capture consumer value, lifestyle habits and shopping patterns in order to help 'define' customers for potential retail locations. Such work will include designing research, managing fieldwork research agencies, liaising with clients in regards to projects being undertaken, and suggesting/innovating new research methods too!
What's required is a Senior Research Executive or Junior Research Manager versed in primary research methods (particularly quantitative) who's keen to have more ownership and autonomy - this really is your baby! - and who'd perhaps like to move out of more tired agency churn into smart, informed consultancy instead. You'll find this role hugely rewarding because the results you produce will have impact, and the group sees this Senior Research executive position as a key hire.
