Berkshire – Social (Education) sector – £40,000-£48,000
With the aim of improving education for young people across the UK (and sometimes internationally), this amazing independent organisation is well-known for their ability to conduct high impact research which supports effective policy and practice within the education sector.
This role sits within the sales team and will see you work closely with the Head of Department on a range of proposal and pitch development as well as strategy and business planning, developing and maintaining relations (intelligence gathering), pro-active business development and bid management.
You will also be supporting the wider team with training and mentoring and play a key role in establishing, developing and maintaining good relations with clients. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to take on a role which will see you have real impact within a leading not-for profit organisation and therefore create lasting change in education policy. As a Business Development Manager, you will already have experience in a front-line business development position (ideally from a market research agency) with an active interest in market research and social sector. You will be a highly organised and result driven individual.
