Absolutely brilliant opportunity to head up the commercial and client partnerships team for this hugely influential social enterprise!
This group introduces top UK based employers to emerging talent via events, workshops and related activity, and offers creative solutions surrounding apprenticeships, employment/CV advice, and more. Over the last few years it's built a huge reputation as a dedicated social enterprise helping young people find their way in the commercial world, and has equally developed links with educational institutions nationwide.
As Head of Commercial and Client Partnerships you'll lead dual activity in both developing new relationships with leading firms plus maintaining existing activity. You'll be managing a team split across both areas, and have the managers of those teams reporting directly into you - your role then will heavily involve team management/strategy, although you'll get involved in some client relationship/new partnership activity yourself too.
What's required for this is someone who is at heart commercially minded but keen to bring those skills to the social enterprise sector, and realise this won't be the same as doing a 'full on' BD role with high commission return. People within this group share a passion for what this organisation is trying to achieve and they'll want you to embrace that too. That said, a background of developing commercial partnerships (both new and existing) plus considerable team leadership/management skills are required - it's a seriously super opportunity for someone who is perhaps looking to switch to social enterprise/third sector work with the skills they've garnered from the commercial world.
There is a strong package on offer including some commission/bonus related to team and personal performance centred on target revenue they'd like to maintain.
