A rare client and team-leadership role within the research & insights arm of one the world’s top management consulting groups. This “Consultancy within a Consultancy” has won multiple awards for its ground-breaking customer experience programmes, providing a 360° service, including voice of the customer, journey mapping, experience design, experience strategy and investment analytics. Clients come to this management consultancy’s strategic research unit for the more challenging marketing problems that require a higher-level of insight and sophisticated customer research & analysis to get to the ‘nub’ of the problem and for customer-centric recommendations and transformation programmes.
As the Senior Research & Insight Manager you will be responsible for the delivery of strategic customer experience insights to a wide range of blue chip clients across technology, retail, travel and financial sectors, while heading up a team of insight and customer experience professionals. This is therefore a great opportunity for a Senior Insight Manager to take their research and insights skills “to the next level” and would suit someone who is equally at home with delivering insights as with client and team management responsibilities.
Strong quantitative and interpretation skills are essential to tease out the meaning behind the numbers, while excellent presentation skills are also prerequisite to deliver commercial insights and the ‘story’ being the research, so clients can understand and buy in to your recommendations and advice.
Experience in technology, retail, travel or financial services sectors would be desirable, as is a background in customer experience, ideally gained within a leading agency. You should also have proven team management and development skills as reporting to you will be a team of dedicated and bright researchers and analysts who will look to you for guidance and support.
